New Leaf strives to improve the quality of life of individuals living with disabilities by assisting them in gaining and maintaining independence during their daily lives through the utilization of therapeutic recreation interventions and behavior management strategies.
New Leaf Recreation launched in July 2019, with our main focus being recreational therapy services for individuals with disabilities on the Indiana Medicaid waiver. In order to help further serve our clients and community, New Leaf was expanded in August 2021 by adding behavior management waiver services. We are proud to be the first and only contracting waiver provider in Indiana that is simultaneously owned by recreational therapists and operated as a women-owned small business.
We pride ourself on our ethical practice, continuity of care, and team of therapists and consultants. We strive to provide quality services to individuals, with the ultimate goals in mind always being goal achievement, community integration, and a positive quality of life, all while having fun in the process!
New Leaf is passionate about utilizing our recreational therapy and behavior management services to work towards a more inclusive, accepting, and accessible world for individuals living with disabilities by advocating for human rights and providing superior service provision.
"Service providers shall treat individuals served in an ethical manner by actively making efforts to provide for their well-being by maximizing possible benefits and relieving, lessening, or minimizing possible harm."
