Gabbey Burress, CTRS

Gabbey has worked in both clinical and community settings for the past 8 years. She completed her internship at the University of Cincinnati Medical Center in the Acute Behavioral Health Unit in Ohio. Gabbey collaborated alongside interdisciplinary teams to provide mental health treatment to a range of patients including those diagnosed with Bipolar, Schizophrenic Spectrum Disorders, Personality Disorders, Personality Disorders and Depressive Disorders. After graduating from Indiana University in Bloomington, Indiana, she worked as a Mental Health Specialist at Cincinnati Children’s Hospital. Since 2018, she has been practicing Recreational Therapy with individuals on the Indiana Waiver in both Bloomington and Indianapolis.

In her free time, she enjoys rock climbing both indoors and outdoors, crocheting, roller skating, and cuddling her cats, Margot and Kiz.
