Diamond Rosenthall, CTRS

Recreational Therapist

Diamond Rosenthall received a full scholarship to Indiana University of Bloomington and received her Bachelor of Science in Recreation Therapy in December of 2023. During her time in college, she became the president of the recreational therapy club and established a horticulture program for the students to gain clinical hours. Diamond also gained clinical experience working in a domestic violence center for adolescents during her freshman year of college. In addition to her other experiences in her career, she became an activity assistant at a nursing home where she helped individuals find more interest in their leisure time. Diamond also gathered additional experience when she decided to become a DSP servicing people on the autism spectrum for her final year in college. Diamond completed her internship with New Leaf Recreation and accepted a recreational therapy position shortly after graduation, she has been working with individual with disabilities on the Medicaid waiver ever since. Diamond has a passion for helping individuals become more independent through the unique practice of recreational therapy, while also being able to see the development of their progress. In Diamond's free time, she enjoys spending time with her family and two cats named Nála and Ivy. Some additional hobbies that Diamond enjoys are painting, doing her hair, and practicing Spanish.
