Cate James-Peterson, CTRS

Cate attended college at Aurora University where she received her Bachelor of Science in Therapeutic Recreation while minoring in Psychology and playing for the school’s soccer team. Cate completed her internship experience at New Leaf, allowing her to gain valuable experience working with individuals with disabilities on the Indiana Medicaid Waiver. While in college and high school, Cate worked at a local sport’s dome in her hometown, Yorkville, IL, where she worked with children of all ability levels. She organized birthday parties, summer camps, and Special Olympic sporting events. In her free time, Cate enjoys playing soccer, painting, being outdoors, spending time with her family, and playing games!
