Ashlee O'Hern-Fino, CTRS, MS

Ashlee graduated with a Bachelor's degree in Therapeutic Recreation from Illinois State University in 2016. She successfully completed her internship at New Star Recreation Services, where she planned and led various programs, including summer camps, special events, and Special Olympics softball. Following her internship, Ashlee was hired as a Program Coordinator at Northern Will County Special Recreation Association. In this role, she was responsible for adult weekly programs, special events, and the Adult Day Program where she supervised a team of over 15 employees and more than 50 participants.

Ashlee's passion for her work comes from watching people grow and reach their fullest potential. Inspired by this passion, she decided to pursue further education. While working full-time, Ashlee earned a Master's degree in Management with a Human Resource Certificate from the University of St. Francis in 2023.

In her free time, Ashlee enjoys solving jigsaw puzzles, traveling, and spending time at her family’s lake house doing activities such as wakeboarding or surfing. She also loves golfing with her husband, Joe, and taking walks with their dog, Josie.
