Alli Hyatt, CTRS

Recreational Therapist

Alli graduated from Indiana Institute of Technology with her Bachelors degree in Recreational Therapy in 2023. She was apart of Alpha Chi Honors Society. Before graduating, she completed her internship at New Leaf Recreation LLC. Following the internship, she obtained her CTRS credentials and officially began her career working with New Leaf Recreation LLC. Alli has lived with both of her parents, Bob and Sherri, and younger sister, Sydney her whole life. She also has a half-brother who lives in Germany who she has met a few times.

Alli worked in the special education department during high school for two years as a peer tutor at Eastbrook High School. This is where she fell in love working with people with disabilities and realized her calling for helping others overcome their barriers and become their best self. Alli has a passion for helping others feel included, listened too, and confident that they can do anything they set their mind to.

Alli played softball and volleyball throughout her childhood and high school career and then finished her career playing softball for Indiana Tech University. Alli also played for Hoosier Force Travel Softball all the way up until college. She hopes to stay in the softball world and coach travel softball in the near future. Alli enjoys spending time with her golden doodle, Remington, and rescue pitbull, Kane. She also spends a lot of time with her boyfriend and enjoys eating out, going to church, and binge-watching The Walking Dead with him. Some of her favorite activities include scrolling through Tik Tok, shopping, hanging out with her friends, and traveling. She also enjoys all kinds of music genres, a few of her favorites including 80’s, country, and Taylor Swift (Yes, she’s her own genre!).
