Juanakee received a Bachelor of Science in Therapeutic Recreation from Grand Valley State University in 2013. Juanakee continued her academic career and obtained a Master of Science from Western Illinois University with an emphasis in Park, Recreation, and Tourism Administration in 2016. Juanakee received a Master of Arts in Special Education with an emphasis in Analytical Behavior Analysis for Arizona State University in 2023. Juanakee has practiced in various settings and populations, such as Community Park and Recreation, Corrections, Behavioral Health, Residential Facilities, and Substance Abuse Rehabilitation Programs. While working in corrections, Juanakee developed a Horticulture program and partnered with local Master Gardeners. The Horticulture program developed several gardens around the facility and a community garden where the harvested produce was donated to the local community food center for families needing fresh produce. Juanakee has a passion for living and experiencing life which can be shown in her endeavors. Juanakee lived in Kaiserslautern, Germany, and spent time traveling Europe. Juanakee enjoys various activities, such as boxing, kayaking, trying new restaurants, traveling, and cooking. Juanakee also has two adorable dogs, Munchie and Bella.
