Cynthia Lee, MA
Behavior Consultant
Cynthia graduated from Indiana University Northwest with a Bachelors in Criminal Justice and minor in sociology. She then went on to obtain a Masters of Arts in Psychology with an Applied Behavioral Analysis concentration from The Chicago School of Professional Psychology with plans of becoming a BCBA in the future.
Cynthia comes to New Leaf with a great amount of experience in the mental and behavioral health fields with experience working with a wide array of clients as an previous Behavior consultant, a Behavioral health residential advisor for adolescent children at Franciscan health and as an Emergency Room Behavioral clinician at the University of Chicago. She currently also works as an adjunct lecturer and instructor teaching psychology and science for the City of Chicago Colleges.
Cynthia’s passion for this field and wanting to help others comes from having an older brother with a developmental disability who she has always helped and worked with and helped to decrease his behaviors since a young age. Cynthia believes that everyone should have the opportunity to be heard and to express their feeling and they should be shown that they matter.
Cynthia enjoys spending time with her family especially her son, cooking, going to baseball games, learning new things, vacationing and watching anything true crime, mystery or horror movies.
