Alyssa McGuire, M.S.Ed.

Alyssa McGuire graduated from Ball State University in 2014 with a Bachelor of Science in Elementary Education and Mathematics. She then earned a Master of Science in Special Education from Purdue University in 2017. With a decade of experience as both a math teacher and a special education teacher, Alyssa has worked with students from kindergarten through eighth grade, helping them build confidence and independence in their learning.

Alyssa is a professionally licensed educator in Elementary Education, Middle School Mathematics, and Special Education (PreK-12). She is also certified in Crisis Prevention. She is passionate about serving individuals with disabilities because she believes everyone deserves to live their best life. She loves helping others discover their strengths, work toward their goals, and develop greater independence.

In her free time, Alyssa enjoys spending time with her husband and two kids, caring for her many animals—including dogs, cats, chickens, pigs, and even an axolotl—honing her sourdough bread-making skills, and working in the garden.
